Looks like the Desire S is using stock leaked 3.0.16 HTC kernel. m-deejay didn't make a custom one for it. I'm not fully sure of the following but I'm not finding many people who made 3.0 htc custom kernel releases to work with, and most are variants of CM in the first place.

99.9% chance that saga kernel will not work for ours, but the rom should likely work fine after replacing the correct files. Saga and Vivo are almost nearly interchangeable except for the kernels.

If I had time I'd be willing to mess around, but these days don't have much time to tinkle with trying to make something work.

Only time will tell. In the past leaks have been RUUs. In the recent case of the Desire S ICS leak this week, Team Virtuous leaked a fully stock, rooted ICS ROM because they were given access to the leaked RUU.

That being said, I would watch Team Virtuous's twitter feed and mdeejay's feed for information about a Virtuous Vivo 1.0.0.0 ROM...

A good bet is to PM or hassle member football here on xda. He gets leaked stuff somewhere, somehow.

I've always noticed virtuous and others get their leaks from him first.
