I think, it came with a new xdandroid version, maybe from FRX03 to FRX04.

Unfortunately the download-archive of xdandroid.com isn't available, so I can't test the old releases.

While concentrately watching the kbd-backlight I noticed, that the backlight is off, while haret starts and the kernel is booting. It switches on, when the xdandroid-animation is running a few seconds, but before the startup-screen is shown.

Yea, but they were slow and awful. Newest was 2.1 as well.
