Gingerbread update 2.3.4 now being pushed to the Incredible. I received a notification. Of course, I can't update with Virtuous installed.

I am starting to think we've been totally left out on this ROM. Don't think we'll ever see an update on this anytime soon. I might as well just do a clean install of other ROM out there with more support. Too bad...

I actually moved on to CM7.1 back in October. I was always a Sense fan but with the right widgets, CM theme, and applications I don't find myself missing it at all now.

If you use CM, make sure you go into the advanced wireless settings and disable the wireless from sleeping. It was the one thing that didn't work right for me and it took awhile to figure out what the problem was.

Now that the source code for ICS has been released, the CM team should probably be working on a ROM for ICS on the Incredible, which should run without issue. I can't wait for that.

I know this ROM is now old, but I had switched to it a long time ago. I recently had to wipe and revert to stock.

The two things I miss most are:
* The Lock Screen (Rotary with the Time, Etc)
* The Alarm Clock (significantly changed from the original app on my phone)

Anyone have any info about these two components? The alarm clock in particular is really nice, wish I could get it back.

I have tested this with my Virtuous Incredible and it worked fine.

I use the following applications to backup before reverting to stock. All my contacts were on gmail. If you have phone contacts, in People App use Menu, Import/Export.

1) MyBackup Pro - Used to Restore Some Apps including Call Log, Bookmarks, SMS text history, system settings, etc.

Note: Do not restore Android Home or HTC Home (screens), it will take hours and is not needed.

3) APN Backup & Restore - to restore APN if MMS (picture) messaging doesn't work.
