I actually have the same issue regarding data drops. I still have full service, only no data. It sometimes does this when switching in and out of Wifi-zones, where even when I am out of Wifi range, my phone won't connect to HSPA+ data.

I love this kernel and how smooth it is, but the data dropping is one issue I've found with 17u. Thank you for your good work!

Same here... full service, but sometimes I just lose data all together, either randomly or switching from wifi to HSPA... sometimes my bars will go gray as well.

Did anyone have the same issue with me -

Widget clock and the one at notification bar didn't sync with system clock

I'm not sure if its the current rom(AOKP) or the kernel (hybrid v17m),
since I didn't spot such issue in my prev ver (fabulous last 403 build ) and v16m
And both have same app running and NO autokill was installed

Or if this had been discusses anywhere else, appreciate if you can show me

Tried v18b4 with Black Ice b37 and the phone would boot loop. Occasionally, the phone would complete boot, but if I did a reboot, most of the times I would get a boot loop.

That's because of the SR, smart reflex system. Though I'm not sure what SR actually does

Seems the clock sync issue became more severe when system memory is low,and killing some app at the backgnd,
e.g. after exiting from some poor design app

Possible to patch up in the kernel?or should it be in the rom?

If I use AOKP ROM, which reset kernel do I use? stock ICS or the CM9 version?
Cheers.

Use the stock ICS 4.0.4 reset kernel.
