Default Passing Hotkey Functions Into The Windows Mobile 5.0+ Built In Web Browser

All,

We have a Motorola MC9090 Device Running Windows Mobile 5.0 and we are trying to use the built in web browser to access a web based application and we would like to use hotkeys to perform various functions within the web application. Its my understanding that hotkeys can be registered within user built applications but we are wondering if its possible to call it within the page code itself and have the functionality work within the browser (Pocket IE) like it does in a standard desktop browser (e.g. IE8) Your help and input is greatly appreciated.
