He is telling you to use odin to flash el29 kernel w/ cwm and then you can boot into CWM and restore your backup.

...and you just risked bricking your phone rather than following the instruction thatw as given to you. Those Kernel's are not an exception to the rule, they have the same risk for bricking flashing kernels, roms, and doing resets. All current ICS kernels, stock, stock unlocked and cwm repack can cause the super brick.

EL26 CWM which is a gingerbread kernel is the safe way to do it.

He was told to flash EL26 CWM because he wanted to restore a nandroid backup restore. Instead he went and grabbed one of Agat's ICS kernels to do it with.

If you just doing a restore, the kernel you used repacked with ACS works without fail.

I've done it testing, flashing, backing up, restoring etc and have never had any fear since FE10 rogue repack.

Rule to follow... DO NOT use the cwm or stock "Wipe Data/Factory Reset" option to do any wiping, use Calkulins Format All or Modified Format All to do the wiping, it's much quicker, cleaner and for now just safer.
