I had this happen to me a while back. I had to lock the bootloader again and unlock it one more time, I am not sure if it will have the same affect for you.

If I'm not mistaken it's "fastboot flash boot kernel.img".

This might seem like a stupid question but I have to ask. Is the insecure.img file in the same location (Directory) as your adb.exe? If not, please move it to the same location. fastboot boot filename.img is the correct command.

I don't know if it really matters but the insecure kernal I downloaded is reading as disc image file(img), and yes I put the file in the same folder as adb and fastboot, however bunch of other files are there too it is the same folder from sdk.

The command you're using is incorrect. You need to use the command fastboot flash boot (kernel name).img
