Question [HELP] Rooting SGY

Hello guys.. I'm new there and sorry if I'm posting it in wrong session or something.. I wonder to root my phone.. But , Idk its right decission.. I know I'm loosing a warranty for when I root it.. if something goes wrong, what can I do with phone? Tell me why to root and why to not root phone. Is there a temp. root? Just to istall some app and delete it after use? Warranty will get lost after temp. root? Tell me generally problems and something about rootig.. I will be soo thankful.

Rooting-For new members here of XDA Galaxy Y Sub-Forums, Rooting is the Basic Mod we do on our Galaxy Y,Since we bought our Galaxy Y at Samsung stores so it comes with limitations to prevent messing up with your System-level files so the Root method is the answer so you will be the true master of your Galaxy Y.

Advantages &Disadvantages of Rooting

Advantages
-You're already the true master of your Galaxy Y.
-You can now use some Root apps from Play Store.
-You can modify now your Galaxy Y like Custom ROM's,Custom Boot Animations etc. that requires ROOT.

Disadvantages
-Your phone's warranty is already voided,It means that if you messed with your System files ,Then the phone manufacturer will reject your phone as it is rooted already,However you can UnRoot your phone if you have problems regarding the buttons etc.
-You can't use some of their Services that comes with your phone.

Just Google "How to Root Galaxy Y" then follow the directions so you can obtain now root access.
Did I solved your problem/ Answered your questions? You can show it by pressing THANKS button, Don't worry, It won't take you much time

Phone: Samsung Galaxy Y
ROM: Creed's 3.5
Mods: rooted, V6 SuperCharger

Tablet: Eken W70
Chipset: WM8850
Mods: None at all, All STOCK, to be rooted soon.

Temporary Root will root your device but once you restarted or turned off your phone,Its gone. Its a good step for new phones to test if root is working fine on that device.

It depends on your mood or your knowledge about modding your Galaxy Y,If sonething goes wrong with your Custom ROM then flash back to your Stock ROM or if you have a backup called "Nandroid backup" you can restore it using Skin's CWM.

rooting is just made in order for you to be able to have admin privileges on your phone so that you can by-pass system restrictions

no need to worry, you can always unroot your phone

using the unroot.zip

ps: it's just piled down due to post like this, use the search button to find it
