I tried v5 on latest cm9 rom...
I found it completely removed black light...
And also battery is the best...
Comparable to that of stock rom.
Didn't try latest fix..
I ll try it later...
Thanks a ton arindam for ur efforts which finally turned into a JUICY fruit...
I hope this fix really does the job unlike the one u released previously...and please explain the reason for the issue to a layman like me...

Absolutely brilliant work Arindam !
You have nearly solved two of the most important problems.
I am using it on Frankstein MIUI v5 and lost 11% in 7.5 hrs in sleep mode. That's unbelievable as per previous experiences
I think this kernel could make AOKP a bigger Powerhouse
But somehow I am finding phone to be very laggy after installing this kernel (v6). Also Android OS is eating 49-56% battery. Plz fix or advise.
One request - plz add Touch Recovery.

Thanks once again !

Congratulations bro, you have solved the battery drain bug. My battery life has improved a lot, normally when 10% should be drained, only about 5% is drained. Great work!

Cheers

well now only one issue left....making others include this in their kernels by default.....else each kernel update in other roms will require a separate fix for those with this blacklight issue(vibration fix in CM9)......or arindam will have to make a new release each time which i think is too tedious.......

and BTW battery 18% down after 11 and a half hours......ok usage wasnt that high but the savings when in sleep is really good
