As far as last_kmsg, it's located at /proc/last_kmsg. You can either do an adb pull /proc/last_kmsg or use your favorite file manager to copy it to your sdcard and then download it from there.
Hi guys, just had a weird problem. Had my phone connected to my computer for maybe a few hours, I check it and the phone is almost dead. It says that it is plugged into the computer, has a little lightning bolt, but the battery meter is just grey and doesnt seem to be charging at all. On top of this, my phone battery plummeted when it should have been idle.
I went and plugged it into a wall socket but still the battery stayed grey with lightning bolt. I then restarted the phone and it was still just grey. Waited like 15 minutes and now it's charging. Any ideas? I am on 5/07 nightly.

I could =P I read a lot about bugs and such lately so I have been holding off because I haven't had a single problem with this build, so I'm reluctant to blame the build. I was thinking maybe the battery or an app, just wanted to see if anyone had any ideas.

Might be your cable/charger, plugging your phone into USB causes a wake lock, if the charger isn't delivering enough current to power whatever is going on with the phone (should be minimal if the screen is off and phone is idle) the phone might run down, a similar thing can happen if you use GPS on your phone while plugged into a car charger since the car charger doesn't push enough current to charge the phone and run the screen/dps the phone actually loses charge.
If you have another cable, I'd try that first.
Edit: it also could be that your cable has bent or dirty contacts too, given that it started working eventually.

Thanks maybe now I can provide a proper bug report. Thanks to the devs again
Ok, I have a question. I am running CM9 build 5/24/2012, and having an issue with installing an app, either via the "Play Store" app, or play.google.com. The app in question is: https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...id.LEDCallerID
According to play.google.com, it is not compatible with my I777, but it works perfectly fine if I transfer the APK from another phone.
I have tried clearing the data/force stop from the "Google Play Store" app, but this did not help. I've also been in contact with the developer, but he is at a loss as well. Via the app, I can go to "My Apps".. then "All", and can locate the app there, but it doesn't let me install it. The logcat spits out errors like:
Quote:
D/DfeApi (22337): [1] Document.isAvailable: com.tomdignan.android.LEDCallerID not available [restriction=9].
D/Finsky (22337): [1] DetailsAvailabilityRestrictionViewBinder.getAvaila bilityRestrictionResourceId: Item is not available. Reason: 9
I guess my big question is: Has anyone else running CM9 on their I777 had an issue with certain apps being incompatible?

Thanks I"ll try another charger if the problem happens again. My battery seemed to have died overnight while being charged but it was probably because I fell asleep while using Splashtop. Woke up with it turned off at 100%.
Can somebody run a quick test for me? Does the Go SMS notification pop up on the stock CM9 lock screen? I'm talking the quick reply box thing. I know the stock SMS app doesnt, but not sure why Go SMS doesn't.
