For anyone still using gingerbread (I am) rc2 launched *as stated above* but I just wanted to say its pretty solid. Feels alot more fluid than rc1 and smooth too. I want to use ics but its not ready in my opinion for a daily driver. Really need my video camera too!

So I have been having random reboots with 7.2 RC1 & 2, and 7.1 along these lines: http://forum.cyanogenmod.com/topic/5...dom-reboots-2/

I posted over there but thought I'd post here too.
I have a theory. I put my phone in airplane mode and it's been stable without reboots for over 12 hours (which is a record). I started having this problem after updating to the GB radio for the Inspire (12.56.60.25x_26.10.04.03_M). I'm now running the Froyo radio (12.39a.60.19x_26.06.06.30_M) and the matching ASOP RIL (2.2.0018G). It seems to make sense too because there are more resets when I travel/when the phone switches towers. Also, there's no problem when I'm on a sense ROM.

So could this be the problem? If so, what's the solution?

Ok, this thread is old and there are newer builds of cyanogenmod I highly suggest you install cyanogenmod from here http://get.cm/?device=ace use either the stable or the latest nightly(what I'm using, seems stable as well) then flash existz kernel after installing cm7 http://code.google.com/p/talon-msm7x...S.zip&can=2&q= and finally install sybergunne's daemon controller to control the clocks http://bit.ly/yhLnLF use the smartassv2 governor.

edit: google now isn't likely I found this in another thread "I don't think there will be much of one. I think your best bet is to download a 3rd party app from the play store."
