Try to fix permissions in CWM after you install the kernel and before you reboot. I've seen some people say that worked for them.
My HTC Rezound Development:

Also don't forget to mount everything first ..
And you might have to flash the rom over the top as well after you run fix permission ..
No need to wipe anything ..

Woot! I have the proper radio to go with my ROM now! Thanks Shrike 1978 and cujo6801.

Here's a recap of what I did so others can be successful. I apologize if I am repeating what is already in another thread.

From EP4 on Eclipse 2.0 with EXT4 file sytem...

FP1 radios already installed and need to install FP1 kernel

Install Vodoo Sound
Apply imoseyon 4.0 kernel (if not already done)
Reboot and disable lag fix in Vodoo
Reboot and the file system lady indicates the file system is converting
Reboot in to CWM
Mount everything
Apply FP1 kernel
Fix Permissions
Reflash ROM
Boot and enjoy

If you have any custom keys or settings they will need to be reapplied.

Thanks again guys!

Hmm. I'm not sure about that one then. I would backup everything then wipe data and start fresh. It may help or may not. I'm not sure

Not sure it's needed, but I updated the stock kernel CWM zip to avoid issues when flashing it over some of the variants of the PBJ kernel.
If you like what I've done... I like sammiches so feel free to buy me one!

I thought I'd try the stock FP1 kernel. Will the tweaks in tweaktools work on it? Can I change the boot animation to the Tweaked one?

I don't think the init.d stuff will work on the stock kernel, but I don't really know to be honest. Custom boot animations don't work with this kernel though.

Does the stock kernel use battery faster than PB&J?

I've been using stock for about a week and it seems about the same to me. Definitely not worse.
