Default [Q] help! how to back up and install polaris office off my evo 3d?

Seriously, no polaris office???

so can someone explain how i can 'move' my polaris install off my 3d and onto the lte? i'm not seeing how with the backup apps. must i root both phones just to do this?? that seems excessive

It's definitely in there. If you attempt to open a word or excel document, there is definitely an option for "Open using Polaris Office" so they've hidden the icon or integrated it into Sense.

strange.... you are right. but, no menu button. how do i get to settings, edit or create a document, and mainly create a new document or edit a document?

this trick to access the power save menu, do the exact same thing, only after you check "start another activity" --> the select "select an activity or shortcut" --> stay on the activity list and scroll down to Polaris Office, and select it. Bam, now you have an icon app link to polaris office front page, allowing you to create new documents or edit documents.

This minimalistic text app is AWESOME.

found it in the one X forums.

By the way, any replacement launcher will let you see the Polaris Office App like normal.

Here's another solution for Polaris Office:

Install ES file Explorer.
Open the Application Manager.
Scroll and find Polaris Office.
Long press and choose create short cut.
You now have a proper shortcut complete with the right Icon.
