Hi Gabo I think you are sleeping now. But when you wake up i hope you'll answer >:]

1. I installed the link you gave me for the default apps. I got all the default apps. I noticed that in the Pitch black phone app. the back or delete button is at the bottom right and in the default apps its at the TOP.

i really like the default dialer and its striped background and is it possible to put that back / delete button at the bottom ? Its really inconvenient position to put that button.

SystemUI

1.- Download one of my mods
2.- Decompress the .zip with WinRar
3.- Go to the path /system/framework/
4.- Open the framework-res.apk with double clic
5.- Go to the path /res/drawable-nodpi
6.- Rename the image that you want use as background_holo_dark.png
7.- Drag and drop the image on the folder /res/drawable-nodpi for replace the original one
8.- Compress the folders META-INF (Here are the script to make flashable the files, don't change anything from here) and system in one .zip and name it as you want
9.- Enjoy the modding

Dialer

1.- Download one of my mods
2.- Decompress the .zip with WinRar
3.- Go to the path /system/app/
4.- Open the Contacts.apk with double clic
5.- Go to the path /res/drawable-nodpi
6.- Rename the image that you want use as background_dial_holo_dark.png

8.- Compress the folders META-INF (Here are the script to make flashable the files, don't change anything from here) and system in one .zip and name it as you want
9.- Enjoy the modding

Hope this be useful to have more cool stuff in our ROM
In relation to:

4.- Open the framework-res.apk with double clic

double clic is the mouse action or an applicaiton i assume?

And for this:

8.- Compress the folders META-INF (Here are the script to make flashable the files, don't change anything from here) and system in one .zip and name it as you want

I do not quite understand this bit, so when compressing I need to use the script? where is the script? I thought I just simply use winrar to zip it....

Question Couple of issues with 2.0 and 1.9.1

First I want to make clear that this thread is so long that the questions I will address here might have already been answered so bear with me.

1. Swiftkey beta somehow is not at the same resolution as the phone, the reason i say this is that if you try to write an email lets say example@gmail.com the icon that adds the @gmail.com doesnt show gmail; only hotmail but if i drag my finger to the bottom edge of the phone it manages to select it. on stock swiftkey beta worked just fine.

2. Gmail, and google+ apps on the market appear as if an update is due but when i try to download the update a message appears stating "Package file was not signed correctly Uninstall the previous copy of the app and try again.

If anyone knows the reason for both of these please let me know.

Thanks

What DPI setting do you have right now? I'll try to make a flashable zip for your dialer

Yes Double click the file to open it. It will most probably open with zip for you.

When you do step 2 (decompressing) you will have a folder called META-INF and System. META-INF folder contains the updater script which is the file that actually gets executed when you flash in recovery. So once you're done editing in /system/framework just take all the files that you decompressed in Step 2 and put them back (compress) in a new zip file that you will create.
