Very few use the phone gui since ordinarily on the nook color it has no navigation bars in phone gui. See my tips thread in my signature if you want to learn more and get a patch to make it work in phone gui.

After three tries to download the 0526 diff and getting the download page instead, I gave up and downloaded and flashed the 0526 ROM instead, and Terminal emulator crashed on launch. This still happened after flashing the 0527 diff. I finally noticed (WiFi icon and settings/accounts) that my google account was gone and couldn't be added manually, so I reflashed 0429 gapps (the usual fix), and was able to put the account back in.

Anybody else see this? Being a prehistoric Unix type, I use Terminal Emulator a lot...

Default Kind of working Adobe Flashplayer for HULU

I found this under ICS for the Motorola XOOM

http://www.xoomforums.com/forum/moto...-jan-17th.html

So far this is the only flashplayer I found that works with ICS on the Nook Color. I recommend trying different browsers but Dolphin works (use the desktop setting). Hulu does play but choppy. Youtube plays pretty smooth.

I am using the latest opengl version.

Any input on a better flashplayer is welcome.

Anyone having any luck getting Netflix working?

Default Dead in the water

cm-9-encore-20120528-0700-unofficial hangs before the skate boarder shows up, If I restore using TWRP same thing.

Did a full wipe restored the previous backup get the Blue Android word across the screen (default ANDROID animation screen) and no boot.

Any help would be appreciated...

Downloaded update without GOOMANAGER (on my MAC) and transferred to SDCARD ran the update and all is well...

Hey eyeballer-

I see on the update for goo manager that you guys are preparing to go with a replacement for the android download manager API.

Did you find proof that is what is killing everyone's downloads? I thought there was a larger problem just being revealed due to the large size of update.zip downloads.

What's the scoop?

Yep, s0up and solarnz felt the android download manager API was unstable for larger files and it broke far to often, so they wrote their own download service (almost 1000 lines of code!). We've been testing the past few days and so far it seems to work great, if the download loses connection it'll resume within a certain period of time. Hopefully the masses will find the same

Goo Manager didn't find a diff today. The complete opengl was there, however.

I'm not entirely sure if its my device or ICS. But this doesn't occur in CM7 builds.

After my device has been idle for a few days, it starts crackling randomly, almost like a static shock sound. Not out of the speakers, it actually sounds as if its the screen. When this crackling starts I can be a sure a complete freeze up will happen in the next few minutes.

Does this happen to anyone else?

Also, on reboot, all is fine for a day or two. Doesn't really bother me about having to reboot so often. I just hope this doesn't ultimately hurt the device.
