DONATE TO ME
Hey everyone,

I was wondering does this rom have the constant dual core except when the screen is locked? I have Mean Rom ICS v1.5 and am skeptical if I should try ZR3DX instead, I like the way it looks and I'm hoping the sounds are louder too. Does anyone know or have any suggestions?

Thx!

I've tried Mean Rom ICS before. They both have their pros and cons; however, I much prefer ZR3DX over Mean Rom. And yes, it has dual core unless you disable it.

Only given up because of Sprint being unwilling to fix our local tower. I loved that phone, even more than the S3!

I've been told the filter between my brain and my mouth is often broken.

Okay I have this Rom stable. I'm using 4ext recovery and I installed anthrax ics kernel. So far so good. Looking good. A bit lagged but I know it will get better with updates. One concern is every reboot the phone seems to be updating android apps. I'm not sure if that's normal. Good Rom overall.

Download and flash the stockcpu.zip I believe its in the OP if not I know its in this thread somewhere. But I've tried it both ways not enough difference in battery life to give up performance

true dat, I don't really see any worse battery life for me using drops rom with dualcore, but the PERFORMANCE difference sure was obvious! Drop is really good at deving for our phone, hes got all kinds of build.prop/init.d/deep sleep tweaks to help with battery and performance, so I definitely recommend that you give this rom a flash, you'll love it.

+1

I notice hardly any difference at all in battery life running dual cores from single core. Battery life is very important to me when I'm at work, so that is saying something!

Give dual core a shot and see how you like it. You can always drop down to single core later if things don't work out for you.
