New bug (or not): after being in standby for a while, it won't automatically connect to WiFi again and mobile data is also turned off, so i have to go to the data settings and turn it on again.

First shalt thou take out the Holy Hand Of Choke™, then shalt thou count to three, no more, no less. Three shall be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, neither count thou two, excepting that thou then proceed to three. Five is right out. Once the number three, being the third number, be reached, then lobbest thou thy Holy Hand Of Choke™ towards thy foe, who being naughty in My sight, shall snuff it.

It's set to go off when i turn the screen off. I really don't want to always have it on with the poor battery life i'm having at the moment I'll have to live with it for a couple more hours until v0.2 hits the thread (hopefully).

i know what you mean, but i am not sure the new nightlies resolve the wifi problems.
I saw Entropy cursing away at broadcom for their drivers and support. Don't think they totally resoved the wifi issues yet. (Although he was talking about another wifi problem, something about unresponsive screen when the note wakes up, due to wifi).

I seriously doubt imilka will update a ROM knowing it would break wifi. If you flash a CM9 kernel on here and don't change anything in the ROM framework itself, then something is bound to be broken. That's why we wait for the developer to bound everything together.

If you are helped by someone, it is only the right thing to hit the "Thanks" button.
