Default [Temporarily Solution] IMEI = 0 after downgrade from ICS (Leak) to GB 2.3

A lot of LU6200 owner's experienced that their IMEI number is 0 after going back from actual ICS (leaked Version) to GB 2.3.

Here is a (temporarily) solution to get back an IMEI. PLEASE NOTE THAT IT IS NOT YOUR ORIGINAL IMEI!!! (Let's hope soon there will be a solution to get that back also)

Thanks to Brianlili over at http://bbs.ztphone.com for this fast solution. He is already looking into a way to get the original IMEI back to work.

http://bbs.ztphone.com/thread-9028-1-1.html

Step 1:

Download these two files from my Box-account

1) 5irom APK (IMEI Backup Prog)

https://www.box.com/s/63ac815428cda4426b19

2) 5irom IMEI Backup

https://www.box.com/s/79c27c372b6e82cd0a54

Step 2:

Install the 5Irom APK on your phone. Just open the rar-file "lu6200-imei.rar", copy apk-file onto your SDCard and open it - install - ready. (you need ROOT!)

Step 3:

Open the rar-file "imei-backup.rar" and copy the 3 files from the folder "imeibackup" onto your SDCard/5irom/imeibackup.

Step 4:

Open the 5irom App and click the second icon from above. Now it will restore the backup from the imeibackup-folder and you should have an IMEI again.

Close the App and go to your dialer, type in *#06# and you should see the IMEI number. If not, please do a reboot and check again. If after that the IMEI is still 0 you maybe missed something and have to do it again.

What would be a potential problem with the all zero-ed imei? (Coz mine is in that situation but see no problem at all in using the phone.)
