This is supposed to happen, even though it doesn't always work. I love it when it works though so you don't have to remember what all apps to redownload.

When booting up from an upgrade I usually get about 250+ apps on the "android is updating" screen. I have been with android for a few years now.. I doubt this phone will be able to hold all the apps I've ever downloaded on top of the apps I still have. Is this going to pose a problem? I enjoy looking through the apps I've downloaded in the past. But 90% of them I wouldn't redownload.

That does that with every new flash you do. Everything is being updated in the ROM. Everything. There are apps in your system that you probably don't even realize are there and they are updating when you flash a new ROM. That's not your installed apps that you get form the Market. Am I correct?
Samsung Galaxy Note II Synergy r51 4.1.2 MA7
Perseus Alpha 33 Kernel OC'd to 1.8
Samsung GSIII Stock Rooted MA4
Motorola Photon Q ASA-14

When you go though setup, you can uncheck backup and restore. Then it won't install apps

Lol I know this :P and you are slightly correct. Its my installed apps plus system apps, random junk, and necessities. With a fresh install I think I was getting about 80ish. But I was under the assumption that people were talking about the market installing these apps which if that's the case then my phone won't hold that many apps. I don't want it to install previously installed apps because mine range from 2+ years
