Thanks for the better rom, and i have the tools, Like i said when i try to connect it to the PC the way the instructions in the PDF say it boots up to normal mode and runs it as a mass storage device, Not to the point where i manually install the drivers needed unless the flashing occurs when the nextbook is running normally? Again instructions are unclear as to what till happen and what the nextbook should do when pressing the downbutton after powering off

Thanks stevemp, I think the mathe lesson could be over my head too.
We have to wait on our testpilot for an explanation with more easy words and less mathe symbols.

Hold the down button and plug in the usb cable, windows should ask for a driver. Video by hvdwolf explains how to do the rest. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NXBlf...eature=related

Thank you for your work - I am just booting 1st time and as soon system is up I will tell you what is going on.

Thanks once more! Vielen dank!

UPDATE: System Working perfectly!!! Is fast as ever and really reacts good - seems very stable also. Just please tell me - I noticed 2 problems - Android Market shows only 2-3 apps and 1 game compatible with device (on previous ROMs there were thousands, and is possible to switch to Google Play?) YouTube reports Connection error although network works normally.

Vielen vielen dank!

Thanks for the help stevemp!

Came home - pressed down button and plugged it into my laptop and it saw it right away and installed the drivers. Guess my desktop at work didn't like it (custom build quad core AMD) but its booting into the rom that you had suggested. Will let you know what I think and how it goes!

Thanks a lot!

Looking at ICS code seems as arm7 optimized code must be rewritten for arm5, too much for me. Maybe someone else will do it that is better at writing code.

Returning to this orientation/rotation matter

What this "force auto" do is to follow all the time the orientation the user wants for the device. If the user rotate the device, the screen will rotate the same, as usually does "auto-rotate screen" in settings.
The difference is when an app has as default a different position than the user has the devices, it will not obey, except if the user turn the device.

This can affect a game (I never play games )? (question)

I couldn't get it to work, keeps force closing. Ebook reader gives you the option of locking in portrait. Most of the games I play have to be in landscape, same as video player. If video player is in portrait it does not play. With ADW Launcher you can lock it in portrait or landscape in settings. Not sure what I would use it for, my tablet has a case that doubles as a stand, keeps it in landscape on desk.

Default Program crashing?

Alright so I flashed it successfully and seems to be running pretty got for the slow 600 mhz 256 megs of ram that it has lol. Did have a few questions and problems I'm having.

1) Was going to ask but after going back a few pages till like page 120 was gonna ask about a hard back button but found out if i hold the vol down its a hard back button so that's answered

2) I saw that it doesn't have a swipe keyboard? Is this an easy install or no?

3) Angry birds will start up but once i click on a level it crashes. Same for netflix. It will seem to load then just crash. So far those are the only issues I've seem to have.

EDIT: 4) I have browsed though all the settings as well but for some reason (Espically if i'm using my fingers) when i try to bring down the status bar this mainly happens and on a few other occasions but it will bring up the app draw? I've looked though the settings but maybe i'm over looking something? This is an option i am able to disable or is this a glitch?

Has trouble playing some videos but maybe if they weren't 1080 it would play them lol

But other than that it an awesome rom man! Runs better than the stock and can actually use it as a table (or what little of a table it is) but its a lot more functional than it was.
