Default [Q] How To Remove/ Change microSD Card Properly?

I ask this question beacause I concern with message I got when I change my microSD card. I always get "microSD card Unexpectedly Removed" error message. I'm afraid I eventually will erase all of my data. How did I remove my microSD card? Firstly, I unmounted SD card from settings then I turn off my device. Secondly, I remove SD card and and insert a new one. Lastly, I turn on my device and still got that message...
Now please tell me how to remove SD card properly??

You should've umounted first in settings -> storage -> unmount SD card.

Did you really turn the phone off completely?
That is, press the power button for 10 seconds, rather than just for 5 seconds and selecting 'turn off'?

Yep. After I press the power button there were 3 options: turn off, airplane mode & restart. I chose turn off. Then I remove my SD card. Still got that error msssage.. am I eventually gonna erase my SD card data?

Do I have to unmount the SD card on setting first?

Update: my phone is restarting when I hold the power button for 10 sec. instead of turning off..

No. You only need to unmount if you want to remove the card while the phone is running.
When the phone is turned off the cards is unmounted automatically.
