Just tested changing it twice on my rooted Tab 2 10.1 without any problems, so if you are having a problem, it has nothing to do with being rooted.

yeah it was already in stock rom but i have the european version :P

I can confirm that the "cwm-root-gtab2a.zip" file acquires root on the GT-P5110 European model, that's the alternative file, not the standard one. Thanks Glenn!

Never mind. I had thought the the SuperSU included superuser. It does not, I've downloaded superuser and all is OK.

Thanks for posting this, was going through the same thing.

There is quite a bit more development for the tab 2 7".. I wish it was compatible with ours. Sounds like xoomdev is working on porting some hax over though:thumbup: thanks for getting things going weltone!
