Just to clear up a few things, since i havent had time to throw source out yet, you guys can only guess and dont know the facts, i started off with a tiamat base with HWA not done properly, talked to sandvold which he stated evervolv is better (i know the reason behind this) so i then recently switched to evervolv hence why i sometimes got reports of bsods as only evervolv kernel has bsods, i deved on kernel included options that evervolv kernel dont have, Ive had HWA accel working properly before hd2 had kgsl updated nevermind nexus one (hd2 had it running before nexus one, i had it running before hd2), so guys yes im using a evervolv base 2.6.38 but ive done hw accell differently, it is NOT the way everyone else is doing it. Please get your facts right, or atleast have decency to ask before saying its all the same, which it isnt.

So no i dont have drewises kgsl edits nor hd2.
Everyone has their own way of doing things

@shaky156
I was merely stating that as your ROM page clearly says, you use the Tiamat kernel with custom hwacc. If you go to tiamat-dev, he has credited drewis for kgsl for his kernel.

I was merely deducing from publicly known information - and since we haven't had an opportunity to see your source, the best we can do is deduce - my apologies if that offended you.

Its not a competition, and credit is given where credit is due - in this case both to you and to @texasice for your invaluable contributions.

Im not offended, just stating its not all the same (different performance/battery life/ results), but i get what you mean, yes drewis has done a teriffic job on kgsl so credit to drewis for that

Anyways, after thinking long n hard about it, ill be starting 1 from scratch

Default SOD and iHeartRadio

I found one interesting behavior even using Shaky's kernel with cyanogenmod build BCM rom while using iHeartRadio 3 out if 5 times phone went into SOD. I was using on demand governor on shaky's kernel when that happened. It feels like this app is using something that screws things up. I thought should put it up for ppl who never have SOD.

Or, maybe its just ondemand. ALL SOD reports I've read and encountered have been while using the ondemand governor on AOSP ROMs.

As per mrhohoha suggestion, try shakys kernel with smartassV2 and try iHeartRadio again to see if u still encounter SOD

I had a SOD overnight, was not charging just normal dissisipation

just flashed shaky's kernel, everything was working fine, woke up phone does not wake
pull battery, reboot, phone boots with 32% battery
using a4, Shaky's latest kernel and was using Ondemand governor seems the issues are with that I will try smartassv2
