[Q] Major problems with shift 4g need help!

My phone has never been rooted. The only update to it have come OTA from Sprint. I upgraded to Gingerbread when Sprint offered it OTA. Now after the last OTA update a few months ago my phone drops call and when it does I have to reboot it. I am also having problems playing any kind of audio. I have an audible.com account, but when I try to play my books it my play all day or it may stop 30 seconds is. When it stops I loose all audio and have to reboot. It also does it with IHeart Radio App, InTune raido app,and while trying to listen to my mp3's. I have tried to get help from HTC Forum and the Sprint Fourm but no one has replied. I am hoping you guy can help, or is my phone just hosed? I never had a single issue with the phone till the last OTA update.

This is the reason we stay away from ota updates. But I would call sprint and tell them that you have done a factory data restore on your phone and its still doing it, then you should take it into a sprint repair shop.

Or you could factory data restore it and see if its a recently installed app wrecking your OS

I tried the Factory reset over the weekend but it did not work.

yeah take it into the store they will try and fix the problem and diagnosis it after 2-3 times they usually send you out a replacemnt.
