Unfortunately the logs don't show any particular issue. :s
Both logs don't capture the moment things go wrong. If you can please install CatLog from the Play Store and make it log into a textfile on your SD. Then replicate the reboot and see if the log now contains all entries up to the point where it decided to reboot.

However, since you just said it only happens when the phone is not hooked up ...

Does it also NOT happen when you connect the phone to the charger?

CatLog cannot capture that moment too. When I try to record that, it doesn't save the file when the phone reboots. You have to manually stop the recording so it can save the file.

When connected to the charger it does NOT reboot. Only when it's unplugged.

Good luck 2 u too!!

I call a hardware problem to be the cause for the odd behavior. If the phone works when being plugged in to the USB cable, and therefore to a power source, but doesn't when it's running stand-alone, I'd say it has a problem that's not related to software.

I just tried the one or another 360/480 video in avi/mp4/mkv format in MX Player 1.6f on GDX v026 and it plays perfectly.

- Any chance you have some other app running the in the background that hogs the CPU every now and then?
- Is it a regular cycle or random? A regular cycle would hint at an app hogging the CPU.

Killed all app and the lag stays, but I discovered an interesting thing. MX Player produces the lag only in HW decoding mode, strange...

It cannot be a hardware problem. Yesterday just before flashing v26 i was having v25 and everything was working fine. Just after I did full wipe and flashed v26, I connected to internet to download some apps and the problem started right away. So, I think that it can not have happened in that particular 20 minutes.

EDIT: It happens only when I connect to an ad hoc network with shared internet connection (on my laptop). When I connect to a wireless network (a router) it does NOT reboot. It works fine.

Strange ... "SW decoder" isn't checked in my "Decoder" settings and a 720x480 MP4 (29.97fps) with a stereo AAC audio track plays back fine without lag.

Also checked with the 854x480 MP4 version of Big Buck Bunny - plays without lagging.

You don't happen to run any "Sound improvements" like the unholy SRS or Bravia crap that only eats CPU for nothing?

Anyone able to confirm?

Just DSP manager(it was in the ROM...) but that was the first thing that get uninstalled.
