Is your recovery.img in the same folder on your PC as fastboot? Which recovery are you using?

I was having the same problem. Easiest thing to do is make a nanodroid backup using clockworkmod. Then have your device hooked up to your pc so you can see your sd card. Then find the backup you made with clockworkmod and copy the recovery.img to the folder where adb is located on your pc. So could be something like this c:\Android\android-sdk\platform-tools\ now bearing in mind that is where adb is loacated on my labtop. So could be different for you. But anyway paste the copy of the recovery.img in that folder and it should work from there..

Sorry to ask this... But what does this exactly do? I am not a complete n00b (well perhaps with ICS directory structure) but I have used adb, done some theming, modified apks, changed bootanis, etc. on CM7 on my last device, but for some reason I am confused by this post.

Beyond what my sig says, I have also flashed the latest recovery in RM (to the extent this info is relevant). I think it is the touch version 5.3.8.1.

Appreciate the patience.....

Sent from my HTC One-S (rooted), stock ROM

The Future of Mobile.....

Use cayniarb's method. It worked for me perfect. Didn'd have to flash a new rom from the recovery or restore anything. Thanks bro

Does anyone know if upgrading to 1.78 radio will affect compatibility with 1.53 roms?

For those who have tmo One S, they are pushing out a radio update. 1.84 radio.

Cayniarb's method worked for me. Orange UK haven't pushed the radio update out yet and who knows when they will. So thank you very much!
