if these devs are anything like me, theyd get easily frustrated with noobs


this is why i cant work anything customer service related

Current Phone: Galaxy Nexus GT-i9250M
Status: Bootloader unlocked + Rooted
ROM: KangMOD (AOKP JB-M1 based)
Kernel: Latest Lean Kernel
Recovery: ClockWorkMod v6.0.2.3 (will 4EXT ever release?)

maybe some one in here can help me...

i am trying to port a ROM, just to see if I can do it. wifi is the culprit though...it just does not want to work. it only says "turning Wi-Fi on" but it never does. can anyone help me with that? thanks.

Try switching wpa_supplicant. Also you might need to pull some bcm4329_ files from system/bin.

what files are required to be ported over to make everything work? the ppl i talked to said system/lib/hw, system/lib/modules, system/usr/keylayout and boot.img. build.prop and update-script has to be edited (i know that part). is that all?

system/etc/apnsconfig.xml

Helps ensure MMS works properly.

Also, you might just want to take the whole bloody system/usr folder in some cases.

thats a great idea, i would love myself to get involve on something as big as android development/roms in general. i will keep learning on my side but my goal is create what you see in these 2 pictures.
