I tried AOKP over the last couple of days. I also tried MIUI. I would recommend Gummy. I think it comes with too many apps though.

I did love the Unicorn and the Unicorn Porn live wallpaper. Gummy beam is good too though. For those that hate long battery life. :P

gummy has literally no advantage over aokp. anything related to unicorns is stolen directly from aokp, and any good features of gummy have been ported to aokp by steve because he knows aokp is faster and better.

also, live wallpapers have very little, if any, affect on battery.

I'm sorry, but what features has steve ported from Gummy exactly?

Are you a dev still using mediafire or dropbox for hosting? PM me up and we'll get that fixed.

the volume control (when you change volume you get a little settings icon and can change different volume types)

and he's working on the SMS pop-up on the lock screen which is pretty cool looking. also some stuff with lock screen custom apps and stuff, though I don't remember if that one is from gummy or cm9.

I don't know man, I've tested a bunch of LWP's and a lot of em hold the CPU in the 4 to 800 frequency steadily. And are held as a service too. I feel like they are battery hogs on my unit.

I use pulse beam and mystic halo live wallpapers and have not noticed any decrease in battery life.

So I went to try AOKP 37, but it was super crashy, so I went back to gummy.

I restored my titanium backup in gummy with same version but now USB mounting doesnt work at all any where. And ADB doesnt work either. Any suggestion as what system setting didnt restore nicely?

So you're saying you restored system data from AOKP to Gummy? Hope not, but whenever I've had USB mass storage mounting problems, I'll delete drivers on the computer, reboot, then put my phone in download mode and plug into the computer and let it download and install the drivers automatically.

ok ive been on 1.2 for a couple weeks now. it is very fast and snappy. not so reliable though. i have experienced random reboots, seemingly when it gets real bogged down. i kill apps constantly now with app killer cause if i dont it seems to slow down and get really sluggish...

anyone else experience this? seems to me to be the only thing that is really wrong with this ROM. everything WORKS, it just slows down and reboots occasionally...
