Noob to the G Nex

I am a former Vibrant owner and flashed many ROM's on that device. I am looking to flash this ROM on my brand new G Nex and was wondering if I have to do anything special first? I have already unlocked the bootloader, rooted & installed a custom CWM-R using the Toolbox kit. Also maybe worth noting...I installed the Rom Manager app and flashed CWM-R through that for the G Nex. After doing that, I was wondering if that changed the custom CWM-R that the toolbox had put on there and if it would still work ok?

Downloading right now. What is the best kernel for this rom? I like good colour managment, good battery and no datadrops,

nothing special is needed...the gnex is very from friendly...you may want to flash the latest 4.0.4 radio...but that's it...

Also, I've only used the CWR touch recovery since it came out because it is extremely convenient. But having said that, I don't think the recovery matters.

As far as kernels, I like lean kernel, but I've heard nothing but good things about Franco's kernel
