It works but will not give you notifications without Visual Voicemail. Read the thread and you will see this question posted many times with the same answer.

searching this thread for 'vm' 'voice mail' 'visual' display ZERO instances of my issue "voice mail indicator not appearing upon new vm". What post # are you looking at in this thread? I'll find it that way.

This is a common problem with most if not all custom roms. The app is the only solution.

Well then you will have to suffer from not getting VM notifications. There is something proprietary in that app we need for our phone. This is something that has been discussed several times.

My apologies, I was not aware that it was a known issue with the Galaxy s 4g. Thanks for that tid-bit. I would not have thought to trouble shoot it as a phone issue. I have never seen it mentioned anywhere in the threads I've participated in.

That makes sense. I was on stock for less than 24 hours before rooting and trying different roms. Sometimes vm worked, & other times not. You've enlightened me eollie, thanks!

I have a quick question (I'm new to this)....

Well, once I download and flash this:

Version 3.0x
version lite no theme just modified lib's etc

http://sourceforge.net/projects/team...0.zip/download

Do I also just flash (as in no other steps):
Power menu cwm flashable :P
https://sourceforge.net/projects/tea...d.zip/download

And what does Power menu cwm flashable mean?

So don't you worry your pretty little mind
People throw rocks at things that shine
And life makes love look hard
The stakes are high, the water's rough
But this love is ours
