Think logically, why would you need to reinstall root when you are flashing entire new firmware and will get clean phone.

Enjoy in your rooted phone with locked bootloader.

p.s. yes, this works for both, Neo and Neo V.
For Neo users, in step 2, you use kernel from Neo V of course.

In case someone is afraid that his finger will slip and that he will wipe something while flashing only kernel, I uploaded ftf's with only kernel.

Yes, it will boot
Same as MT15 users used MT11 entire .562 ICS(ok with cam drivers modification).

Problem with different kernels arise in .431, some FC's. Xperia Pro's have even bigger problem, but they can also use MT11 .562 kernel, just their phone doesn't boot, but boot enough that root toolkit can inject files

one more query..

i use link2sd ext2 partitioning and....
if i dont clear that ext2 data ... and install new firmware...!!!, and then after rooting i again start to link the apps in that partition ...will i be able to get that previous app data ??
and if that data is not usable then when installing apps again on new firmware,... using link2sd.. shouldn't that partition be clean or it will overwrite the previous data
