It should have worked then since cleanrom comes with Su which needs busybox to work. Did u check in system if the new build prop was in there ?

I the busybox I installed from market in my internal memory of my phone, moved it over to /system/bin and rebooted and reflashed. Still nothing happened.
I've checked /system/ every time I've reflashed to see if the build.prop.old appears since I'm assuming the old one will be backed up per the OP.

There was no busybox in my /system/bin before this.
I found busybox in my /system/xbin/ if that makes a difference.

Maybe it has something to do with your radios? Just throwing that out there... I'm a little nervous to try this now because my battery life is pretty good right now.

So there should be zero reason why this isn't working then.

busybox was or at least is now in my /xbin/ folder.
It's also in my /bin/ folder.

It didn't work with busybox in both folders, neither folder, or just one in their respective folders.
I have everything needed for it.

I'm stumped.

Hmm, are you sure it didn't install? If there is a file called build.prop.old in your /system folder then you're good

It did install, it flashed fine, but the build.prop, old never appears which tells me it's not going through for some reason.

no idea bud.... you can try to run the script through the market app "script manager", just grab it from the /kernal directory in the zip file, place it on your phone somewhere and run it through script manager (as root of course).

I am on clean rom DE 1.4 using amon recovery and just flashed this and it worked.

I can tell because my clock changed to white, I just changed the color back.

I looked in system and have a build.prop.old in there.

Can't really tell if its faster but will see (I think this rom was fast before)
