It's because the HC gmail app requires a certain density to run The only way around it is to try a GB version of the gmail app.

great rom, enjoyed messing with it. Found some things that i couldnt get past though. The play store repeatedly gave me error 101 403 etc, when trying to redownload all my apps. I have ones that i HAVE to have for record keeping purposes.

Only other thing i saw was text and icons not formatting to the screen correctly in the Asus launcher (WHICH IS AWESOME) I hate letting that launcher go. nothing else was broken.

Thanks for the great rom.

Does that mean the Asus launcher runs on the Flyer/View on Honeycomb?

I'm not sure if I searched wrong or what but I couldn't find any info on what people are using to replace the HTC Sense message app/widget for SMS/MMS messaging. What are folks using? Or does practically nobody use 3G/4G?

Looks like what I want but silly Play store says my View isn't compatible. Does the GO development person/group make it available elsewhere like web, Getjar, SlideMe?

I've been having bootloop problems with this ROM. I really like it otherwise but watching my view spend 4 hours on the boot animation today makes me really want this problem fixed. Due to my sloppiness on a search, I found this post about the leedroid ROM and wondered if these buffer value changes would work for this ROM?

I'm having frustrating boot loop too especially after using capacitive button and light hack (fresh installation without light hack also still having the same problem). Dunno what trigger evo view to sudden restart and boot loop.

Today I'm reflashing with other combination (installing jmz kernel after fresh from install)
So far so good.
Just a little experiment I do,
in cypher rom thread it was said boot loop caused by kernel bug.
A post informed that set governor to 'performance' solved the problem.
I'll try this tips.

i have found that upping the min frequency to 537.6mhz has stopped the boot loops for me
