Thanks, new kernels are usually soooooo welcomed! I'll probably be done with my 3D next week but I'll be throwing CM9 on a few of my peeps 3D's so I'll keep up with it.

lol im with you, getting me evo one as soon as i get the cash. ive got my brother and whoever gets my 3D to keep up with for tho. sucks that ive been here to see cyanogenmod7 get so close and die and now i get to see cm9 actually finished and then i get a new phone lol

Nightly probably failed last night I wonder if they tried to merge the new kernel and that was what caused it.
