Yes it is. It helps "calibrating" the battery sometimes.

Calibration is the thing! Maybe my batteri needs some more loading cycles to be exactly?

I downloaded the app, went to calibration, pressed the change button, gave a name and mah of the battery, then drain the battery as much as possible, and charge the phone with the app on, if the main page shows mah values in green letters, usually a few hundred to over one thousand, the phone is charging, the app will show you its estimated mah with some variations. Feel free to share us hints.

Can this phone make calls? Some tests liken it to the X10 with poor incall quality AND volume.

Phones may be smart and getting smarter but the manufacurers seem to have forgotten about the device's primary function..................

Please, check my screenshot in the thread above and tell my if this graph is near your system?

In the widget after a 100% charge the remaining time is about 6h5m...this is very short?

Can't tell because we might use the phone in different ways
But at 76%, the app shows empty estimation (Entladen in) of 7h18m.

The Blackberry Playbook charger according to some users is a Beast!!

The Xperia P comes with a EC480 cable. The S with a EC600 cable

Has anyone tried the EC480 cable with the Xperia S? (and EP850 charger)

EDIT: Xperia S charging with normal EC600 cable from box and EP850 charger => from 0% to 100% in 1h 45m (internet OFF, screen OFF)

Got my P yesterday. Took about 12 hours on standby with wifi off for it to drop from 100% to 98% which is like the arc I had.
