3-wipe data/factory reset

3- root

4-install from market voodoo OTA rootkeeper


4-use it to backup the root


5-Copy the Blur_Version.651.167.26.XT910.Retail.en.EU.zip to SD card


6-Boot in Recovery Mode (STOCK Motorola Recovery)


7-UPDATE OTA Blur_Version.651.167.26.XT910.Retail.en.EU.zip


8- use voodoo OTA rootkeeper again to restore root

9-Enjoy!

To OP:

Maybe you should add the step "temp. Unroot" after backing up the Root.

thanks a lot! I can now update my gf's phone to a non-branded ICS leak. Could someone please host the file on another mirror please? the Dropbox link seems to be dead and the 4shared mirror is very very slow. Thanks in advance!

anyone able to post up the system_signed.zip from the SPDREM_U_01.6.5.1-167_SPU-15-M2-3_SIGNEuropeAustraliaEMEA_USASPDRRTGB_HWp2b_Servic e1FF_fastboot.xml.zip as well? dont really feel like downloading a whole 864mb file if I can get just the system_signed.zip from someone thanks

The system_signed has an size from 774mb, the Fastboot got 864mb. So only Downloading the System wouldn't be much faster
