[Q] MicroSD Card

Hi,

I wanted to get a new microSD card for my Droid 2 global.

I wanted to get a 32gb micro SD card, since this is the maximum expandable size. They sell pretty cheap on ebay. I wanted to know if they are all the same size and will fit in my phone. Would something like this work?

i wouldnt buy memory items off of ebay, they are known to be fake and you will just lose money, get them off of amazon or newegg.

and yes, all micro sd cards are the same size, just make sure you dont accidentally buy a regular sized sd card, they dont fit in our phones :P

You may also want to check and make sure what class the card is (I think 4 is what I have now, not sure min class for the D2).

Higher the class on the microsd, higher the price. (Wikipeida)wiki/Secure_Digital#Speed_Class_Rating for more info on it, and where to find it. Usually no class rating means class 2

1. Do NOT buy class6 or greater microsd, it WON'T work with your phone.
2. I read elsewhere that sandisk memories does work.
3. Buy from amazon or newegg.

Thats nota thrue i have buyed various items and didn't have problems with em. Apart of that I have a Scandisk 8gb in my d2g, and works great

I just bought this device with 32 gigs space from Amazon for 17 euros. Pretty good deal.

I have a galaxy note, fantastic device, but I'm tired of touch screen only input. It drives me nuts.
