thanks for the suggestion, but I partitioned the card using Minitool partition wizard and had 100 mb swap set...but still makes no difference...(sigh!) I hate it when this happens....

I am now on cm9 because I couldn't figure out what to do. I can recommend cm9 to anyone though noe it's pretty stable!
