Yes I tried that too but you cannot even listen to the preview. Another strange thing,I use announcify to get caller names spoken and that works... No ringtone, though.

remember to remove wifi -> always on, which seems default here.


btw all others,
I tried the OneS port(desireS->DesireHD) now, and it did not resolve any rotation issues and did not work in landscape.
It might work with 160dpi , i did not check that. but i can say that if anyone wants to persue it, it can almost be put on top of my onexxl rom, and with an audio lib fix it boots up fine, just with graphics at 800x480.

Nice, I guess you tried this rom: I was going to suggest that.
Is it ringing? Can you cross check maybe?

I might be new to this forum, but nice to know you all
I just wanted to ask, if anyone has tried this ROM on your HTC Evo View tablet?
Me & my friend recently upgraded our HTC Evo View to HC via HTC OTA upgrades.
HC surprisingly s*cks and lagging so much on our HTC Evo View.
and also, it can not go full screen anymore with those soft keys at the bottom screen, making the screen look smaller in size.
well, any opinion would be grateful

I believe there is a custom hc Rom for your device that works quite well ") if not I believe Gumby is working to create an ICS port for your device.

I have not ever tried a port but I would be willing to try and port my senseless HC ROM to your device
