Hmm: If we update the camera firmware with this latest ROM, can we roll back to a 3.6 ROM without bugs? I like to be able to bounce back and forth.

Sure, this rom nothing to do with 3.6 backup.

Edit: you should wipe system and cache, if you encountered any problem wipe data or factory reset or full wipe.

there is a update for it as well just updated it & it is working fine fella Edit: Version is 1.8.4 beta 1,65 now
