The first time i flashed b7 i forgot gapps and it stuck on boot animation, I was about to ask in thread when I read either in op or a post by hacktrix to flash gapps or it won't boot. So I did just that, flashed gapps and it didn't stick on boot animation

Recent app menu is not appearing when long pressing the home key, not able to switch b/w the tasks because of this. Can someone show me the way to sort this out. I hv checked in cm setting its enabled there. Am I missing something.

Its just somehow disappearing , I used it when flashed the rom and it suddenly stopped working. Tried to replace the sidekick.apk in system/app/, tried to Wipe Cache&Dalvik Cache, but only reflash helps ...

Hope this will fixed soon. For now I am using fast 5 task switcher. It's good similar to sense.

@hacktrix2006 - I am using beta7 and like it. Thanks for this nice MIUI port. Like to point out few bugs for your attention.

1. Dialer - when a random number is dialed and match not found in contacts following screen in Chinese appears.

2. Contacts added to favorites cannot be removed.

3. SMS - there is list of text in recommended menu in Chinese. How can it be edited or removed?

4. Long press on home button does not show recent tasks.

5. after using camera continuously, sound is lost. Needs reboot to enable sound

6. Just an observation - did not find much performance increase with overclocking to 768 MHz.

Hi thanks for porting this out. If possible can you do a Logcat session with your phone see if that show anything.

As for the Chinese text i already knew about that but it was classed as low priority due to it being cosmetic, Camera sound loss is new and Performance increase not happening at 768 although its not a biggy can be looked at as we are using Symp Kernel so i can test another just incase.

Currently i am busy with family as a member is terminally ill and needs looking after 24/7 so time is limited but once i get a breather i will have a look.
