what keyboards are available after flashing technoduos...
Settings >> Language and input >> Current input method
beside keyboard any other problems...

In the Pro, the virtual keyboard on screen does not appear, I guess that's why the "On-screen keypad" is disabled by default. Not so in the Duos And yes you need it.
As I said in my previous post, the physical keyboard works, but it feels that the keys are not well mapped, especially the special keys.

I've been testing your rom with a Y Pro Duos (B5512), is theoretically equal to the Y Duos but with smaller screen and physical keyboard.
The rom seems to work correctly but not the physical keyboard, it feels that the keys are mapped correctly, for example, if you hit back, in fact, runs an intro. The enter key does nothing, just a beep. The function keys (Alt, Sym, etc ...) do not work.
It would be possible to get the configuration files and apps from the original Pro rom patching after having flashed your rom?
He estado probando tu rom con un Y Pro Duos (B5512), en teoría es igual que el Y Duos pero con pantalla más pequeña y teclado físico.
La rom parece funcionar correctamente pero no el teclado físico, da la sensación que las teclas no están mapeadas correctamente, por ejemplo, si pulsas retroceso, en realidad, corre un intro. La tecla intro no hace nada, solo un beep. Las teclas de funcion (Alt, Sym, etc...) no funcionan.
Sería posible coger los archivos de configuracion y apps de la rom Pro original y parchearlos después de haber flasheado tu rom?

The function keys can be restored using the some files from stock ROM
I'm not a developer or super user..
I will explain what i did (fortunately i got working KB)
flash your phone back to the stock rom
use adb to pull /system/usr/keylayout/ and /system/usr/keychars/
now you can install the custom rom TechnoDUOS
when you finish booting, copy files in to SDcard (dont forget to mount ur sdcard )
unmount after copy
finally mount the system in adb shell as rewrite
and use cp to copy to /system/usr/keylayout and /system/usr/keychars/ (tried to push it back using adb push but didn't work out

I can understand that you want to protect your work from thief but I don't think that you can forbid someone to use some app in your rom since you don't held their patent or copyright. most of apk in your rom was created by samsung or google. since they're licensed in GNU/public license everyone is free to modify it.

im havin a strnge issue..i re installed Td 1.0 then 1.0 by repeatin the sme stems as i did yhe first time...but problm is that samsung duos logo is tkin 20-30 sec n when i cler ram its last value shos 190 mb earlier it user to cler up all apps n cler up memry up to 120 mb idk wats the problem..plz help

They are free to modify from stock rom (nobody is going to stop them) but not from TD.
About the license... many custom roms are supplied with paid apps.... what's the value of their license ??

I've been doing more testing and I've tried installing the KernelFlasher.zip and I think I screwed up.
I can not go into recovery mode, I get a message saying "multicsc: src / system / csc / INU / system" and standard recovery menu appears and I can not select any option with the volume keys or home.
it seems that you refers to those who use paid app in their rom, I'm afraid thats a different topic. well...if you questioning the license thing on paid app, I might ask what the legal base of making your disclaimer. I didn't see any law stuff stated that no one couldn't modify your rom.
as you can see, paid app are protected by legal law. the dev could sue us if we distribute their app freely. on other hand, android system is also protected by law too. however, its using GNU/public license. its clearly stated that everyone is free to modify it. no one could legally forbid anyone to modify android system. it will be a different case if you're completely make this rom by yourself and register it as paid OS like windows. however, you don't make this rom. you only modify it. in fact, I didn't see single app created from scratch by yourself.
well...be cool and take my words just as my opinion. as you've said, people are still using paid app in their rom even if it protected by law. on other hand, I don't see single stuff could be used to sue someone if they break your disclaimer. IMO there's no point to stated 'that' on your disclaimer. with a simple trick no one would recognize if a rom is developed based on your rom anyway.

i was usling link2sd n had app linked ...but i was experimnting with a2sd gui...i moved dalvik cache to ext n rebooted the phone..its remooted normally but a lil extra time my phone memry went 105 to 39 mb but none of the application was workin they were crashing\forcclose....then i wiped data cler partitioon flshed td 1.0then upde 1.1 all went smmoooth working fine....but a lil diff as i noticedd the samsung logo time span n ram manger.....samasung y duos logo is takin 18 sec to boot earlier it was tkin 1 min....and ram manger is not working properly when i cler ram it clear ram up to abot 164mb earlier it used to cler ram up to around 120mb n use to close all aplications but now it isnt workin..

DONT use Link2sd along with a2sd ..they both act differently..The best way to resolve your issue is to reflash to stock ROM and flash back to this ROM..Use only link2sd/a2sd not both
