Hi guys,

Until we get some developers working on the port, we can start trying to move apps from the S3 to the S2 and make a list of what works and what needs porting.

Whoever can, just post here and say what apps he moved and they were working and what apps he moved and they were not working.

The Example below is for demonstration purposes only and does not regard to something true. (I made it up)

EXAMPLE:

App Name: S-Voice
Location: /System/app/voicetalk.apk
Success: Partial
Problem Description: When trying to use the app it says network connection error.

If the s3 rom is ported, it would be brilliant . I won't be buying the s3 cos I don't think the specs are worth upgrading for.

Cheers Corey

That's your problem? That it was first for Nexus S? :P They did it, while we don't do anything, and keep wasting time with all those SAME AOSP/AOKP ROMs... FFS

I'm porting a I9300 rom to Galaxy Nexus but the Galaxy S III has some libs called "ViewRacle" and they prevent surfaceflinger from starting and thus causes a bootloop.
Add me on Gtalk if your interested in porting : androidwoz@gmail.com
