how can i change the automatic backlight values? The screen is to dark.

I just realize that cm7 doesn't have 3g video call option in the default dialer. How do you guys make 3g video call? (No, not the one that need apps/data connection, the standard one over cellular).

Yeah. I didn't realize until I want to use it today. I thought it is a standard feature. Google it too but found no definitive answer.

I ran into this problem in the early nightlys and the answer I found was that cyanogen does not and will not support video call because it is mainly considered a gimmick and it would be highly time consuming to implement it to each phone and carrier. There was mention to it being highly dependent on each phones video and different between carriers or something. I am a noob so I might be saying crap, but this was what I understood. If I recall correctly this was said by Ricardo Cerqueira on rootz wiki in the LG OB nightlys thread.

I don't quite agree calling it a gimmick, it does working nice with stock rom or one that base on it. Trust me I've used it sometimes. Maybe a lots of work required to tailor it to each phone but as my noob brain thought, ain't cm7 already have to be code differently due to differences in hardware? That's why we have cm7 per device not one that fit all? I read somewhere that this 3g video call is not possible in usa because of their carriers didn't or for whatever reason refuse to implement the protocol like the rest of the world, is it true?

Anyway, I'm going to miss this useful feature. Sad.

its been always there, it comes from the source code gave by LG... CMIIW

Installed latest nightly 20120603, using from 2 days......

battery backup getting 1day with pretty heavy usage
dint have any force closes except DSP manager (had to force uninstall it)
bluetooth, wifi, 2g/3g data working fine
changed kernel to diana by huexxx and used gps, APN fix by tant utilities v1.4
now gps working good
all themes look good and no eror on call or sms/mms

think this is the best cm7 i have ever used.......
