Here is my story how i did the restore of mmcblk1p18 partition.

At the begining i swaped blank mmcblk1p18 to get chinies ICS
After awhile got t-mobiles ICS and then the european one.
At first place i wasnt rooted at all, so i sought for solution.
Finaly found a way to gain root.
After that i tried to roll back to my original mmcblk1p18 without success.
So i took a time to think a little bit and then i have realized how it could be done.

The guid is pointed to the peaple who got Original mmcblk1p18 and cant be restored.

And Please Read First prepare your self and then do things!!!

Here is the steps:

1) You must be rooted and have european ICS
2) You must know what is your region device is, download correct GB firmware.
3) Restore your original mmcblk1p18 partition and reboot to fastboot mode.
4) Flash" fastboot flash mbm allow-mbmloader-flashing-mbm.bin " of your GB
firmware!
5) Flash mbr and ebr files "GB Firmware"
6) Download Files from this thread http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1688241
7) Flash boot_new.img and system_signed from the thread above.
8) Go to recovery and flash european ICS reboot and wait....

Good Luck!!!

Sorry for my poor english .

This one is a 'copy n paste' from the other post.

Was asked, and he got pointed to the 120 thread....

---------- Post added at 02:27 PM ---------- Previous post was at 01:51 PM ----------

I had come from 145 secure to EU latest and could not restore MMCblk18 due to cdrom change, cant downgrade to gb cdrom after going to 145 chinese.

I found the solution though, erase cid, root eu,
dd gb cdrom
dd if=/sdcard-ext/cdrom.img of=/dev/block/mmcblk1p16
restore cid
cat /mnt/sdcard-ext/mmcblk1p18-back> /dev/block/mmcblk1p18

No longer have customer ID error :)

Please Note: I take no responsibility for any of the commands above, I used them but I knew what I was doing and had the right files.

Are you saying that you're on 145 and no longer have customer ID error??

EDIT
nevermind, mis-read :p
But how did you jump from 145 to EU latest?

You need to take backup of your mmcblk1p18, or already have one

its a long process
fastboot flashed allow-mbmloader-flashing-mbm.bin (local region gb)
fastboot erase cid
fastboot flashed ebr (local region gb)
fasboot flashed mbr (local region gb)
fastboot flashed recovery (EU 4.04)
fastboot flashed boot (EU 4.04)
fastboot flashed system (GB M2-3)
reboot into recovery, flash latest EU leak
boot into rom, enable adb
root with my root package that is modified to with VRZ 4.03 boot and EU 4.04 boot
DD cdrom (gb) to /dev/block/mmcblk1p16
cat /mnt/sdcard-ext/mmcblk1p18-back> /dev/block/mmcblk1p18

I do not recommend you do this if you dont understand it...

Unless he flashed it different, like i did...
    By putting 145's system.img inside 120 fastboot...
I can still downgrade that way

Thank you for your help. You're right your right comands and I did with them just not copied from the place where you ask. But I think that I did not have the correct CD-ROM, and even though I take from that to which gingerbread unit sold.
I'm up all night several times and this morning too, just did this restoration and I'm tired of all this. Probably have to change this device because that Costumer id eror annoying..

Sorry to hear about that you can't fix!!
    That's what I did:

    1. I copied my cdrom_signed (aprox: 211MB) file and mmcblk1p18-back (approx: 512) to SD card.
    2. adb shell (from PC)
    3. su (You will see # at the end)
    4. dd if=/sdcard-ext/cdrom_signed of=/dev/block/mmcblk1p16
    5. cat /sdcard-ext/mmcblk1p18-back> /dev/block/mmcblk1p18

Checking your mmcblk1p18 file size is correct:
    cat /dev/block/mmcblk1p18> /sdcard-ext/mmctest
Check the mmctest file size in SD card. It should be aprox: 512.

I assumed that you have followed everything FrAsErTaG posted in the following link: http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1692811&page=2 ticked USB debugging, Unknown sources and rooted EU leaked.

I have just checked all of the GB cdrom_signed file size. They all are the same size.
