[Q] can i flash a different CID rom without Super CID

i know i have been asking a lot lately but i can not read every single page of the topics with too many pages but i want to learn lots of things.. the S-off topic is one of them..

so i have a device which comes from Taiwan and the newest firmware is 1.26.x.x

can i edit the europe 1.29 RUU's text file just like we do for the sensation RUUs to include my CID number and then flash it from hboot? or will it just get stuck on the boot screen with an error?
