Default [TUT] - Flash ICS LU6200 - The Official Firmware ICS 4.0.4

LU6200 official mobile phones LU620160_00 official ROM version, this official release

Attention. USB 4.0 debugging state must not connect the usb to adjust is known:

1, Language: Korean, English;

2, and we look dragon has been the ICS 4.0.4;

3, text messaging is no problem

4, not ROOT

Preparation:

ROM: http://csmg.lgmobile.com:9002/swdata...U620160_00.kdz

Tool:

a; Download and install LG Update: http://csmg.lgmobile.com:9002/client...2CAppSetup.exe,

b; download Flastool: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/43909377/FlashTool.1.0.54.zip then extract (eg d: \ FlashTool):

c; Driver .... you do not have http://115.com/file/aq1qbb3n

d, WindowsEnablerv1.1.zip: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/43909377/WindowsEnablerv1.1.zip

2, the FLASH FW:

Cable into the PC and phone theft: USB Debugging and select Unknow soure slightly.

Unzip and run Windows Enabler.exe WindowsEnablerv1.1.zip, Click on the icon in the taskbar to switch On (see figure below)



Run File d: \ FlashTool \ UpTestEX.exe



This step is the "Start Upgrade" you do not choose. you start by choose " Normal Web update test" : D







This step may choose another Language replaced by Chinese:



Start running:

If errors occur, then you put the machine on the DOWNLOAD MODE (remove the battery, theft cable, press the "volume" with "Power Button" few seconds)



wait until this is done : D

My phone stuck on U+ Lte logo after update :s

You only need a hard Reset , shut down your phone , hold volum down and power , make a hard reset and you good to go

its working now, loving ICS, but hate the 80 character limit in sms, is there a workaround for that ???

You can use gosms to get around the limit!but you also need to set the correct SMS center number.

Ahhhh..... with GOSms the limit increases to 147 characters... above 147 characters the sms sending fails...

I did that but I am stuck with the little green robot and the blue line below forever now...

handcent can send an sms of as many characters i want, even more than 160
it automatically adjusts them into splitted msgs i think

so now i am on official ICS with everything working except root...
i upgraded from a rooted P930 rom on LU6200 to ICS 4.0.4 and tried the root method stated in the P930 rom guide but it didnt work, tried unlockroot as well but it also didnt work. just waiting for something new to come up...
