I did the update last night, and took the phone off charge at 10am. It's now 4pm and it has been picking up email, Facebook updates and the like in the background all day (but I haven't turned the screen on for more than about 4 or 5 minutes, so this is not a true real-word test).

As it stands right now, it's on 91%!

I'm defo gonna do the update but I've gotta wait for a few days till I can use my laptop again. So I'm stuck with my phone in its current state until then

That's a shame - but it will be worth it!!

The capacitive buttons are now a lot more sensitive too.

By the way, it's 6.11pm now, and the phone is on 88%!

I've finished work now, so I'll be using the phone a fair bit tonight.. but I will try and leave it off charge overnight and see when it finally gives up.

That's definitely showing improved battery life anyway because it normally drains tons just from standby but yours clearly isn't.

Yeah, it sounds quite promising.

I have Tapatalk running in the background too, plus Twitter and LinkedIn.
