Ιn my opinion the best scheduler for android is NOOP. It is selected by default so dont worry.

Attention attention.
I am just kidding guys. I just found the solution for batter drainage.
Let me tell you a story
I was browsing through market apps one day just to have and saw a 3g/4g optiimizer. It was the first time to see a similar app so I had to test it out.
I downloaded it and installed. When I first openedd the app the ics default values were
10/28/9-high speed.
I wanted to find what these values are so I google a little but couldnt find reliable info on the matter.
So the second step was to flash sock with seus again and check what are the default stock values.
So now I was TA-DA cause the values were 10/10/6-normal...
I reflashed the nAa_ics03 kernel and minicm9_3.0.2. Then reinstalled 3g/4g optimizer and changed the valuess manually to the eclair stock values.
Now my battery lasts better than stock (22hours). I was getting 6+ hours before because of the drainage in this rom. So I think I foundd the solution for me. I hope it applies to anyone.

Thanks! This is brilliant! Well done! By the way, as far as I remember, some people were able to get very slightly over 24hours battery life from stock SE rom... Is there any way this could be achieved if nAa first implemented your fix/findings and then tried tweaking them further for 24hrs+ ... ??
Future hopes:
Unlock bootloader, use ICS/JB rom; &/OR get Sony Xperia™ Z OR
Sony Xperia™ V

now: Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 mini pro - Android: MiniCM7 Pro - V21 by paul-xxx
previous custom rom: 2.1.1.Clean.0.0 by pfonck
before: Sony Ericsson W580i - Proprietary OS Java Platform 7
history: Sony Ericsson K300i - Proprietary OS Java Platform 3; Nokia 3510i - Series 30/40 software platform
vintage: BT Trium - ?

before implementing anything, we need more people testing it and reporting it works

it is really hard for me to test my own conditions, so i have no time to try this thing atm.

please do, and then, give us feed back (as always, i want comparative screen shots : with/without with more than only one power cycle per condition)

thank you guys

As M@ said, this needs more testing. I`ve seen such a curve many times on my phone and thought I found a holy grail, but it was easy come easy go every time. So test test test and keep your fingers crossed!

... and of course, you don`t need to install that apk, you can do the change manually in build.prop.

This looks contra-intuitive, but I found out that there`s no difference if I have my data on or off all the time even with google services syncing on /when no changes to their data are being made, they don`t do anything in the background/.

i was talking about the 3g connection...damn, for me, when my data connection is enabled (and google synch on), the battery drains a lot faster !

maybe there is a misunderstanig with "data enabled" i'm talking about the 3g connection
