You need to flash a world unlocked radio. There's a thread in this section for the WU radios.

ok i reinstalled the Energy.RHODCDMA.21916.Sense2.5.Cookie.1.8.5.Jul.04 and its back up and running. but now its saying Radio version : 2.35.00.WV for the radio. i guess that means its not world unlock to work in any country with no probs right? ive tried all links but dont know which radio i need and the link arent working, says that megaupload is closed down

only to bring the device back into bootloader mode then reflashes with HardSPL V2 185HSPL 00R3 or for more convenience you can use the SO HSPL in this post http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...postcount=3697

RhodiumW-HardSPL_V1_10R3 stopped working

I am trying to run the HardSPL V1 10R3 and keep getting an error after I start the executable.

Steps:

1. Extracted the RhodiumW-HardSPL_V1_10R3 file to my desktop
2. Disabled all anti-virus/spyware software
3. Double clicked the RhodiumW-HardSPL_V1_10R3 executable file
4. Error window pops up, reading: "RhodiumW-HardSPL_V1_10R3 has stopped working." with options to close the program or to send a report and try and get help with the problem. The send option doesn't produce a help page at all, online or off.

System is 6-core processor, 6 TB HD space (2 int and 4 ext), 16 GB Ram, 2 GB Video Card.

I'm logged in as administrator.
My phone is the HTC Touch Pro 2.
My phone carrier with whom I have service is US Cellular.

I have reinstalled Windows Mobile Device Center.
I am connected (synced) to pc with usb cable and WMDC shows we are Connected.

Would love to be able to flash RhodiumW-HardSPL_V1_10R3 to my phone and open up to world radio.
Please help if you are capable.

yep ! after you flash with the HSPL then you can flash with any rom on device..
HSPL Unlocker not the SIM Unlock so I'm not sure if it could

I've flashed the HSPL to my phone with no problems. Then I flashed Mighty Rom, again with no problems. Mighty Rom looks nice actually. Anyway, I still can't use my sim card in this phone. It still says it's trying to use the U.S. Cellular service. The security settings show my phone as SIM unlocked. Is there another file to install on the phone to use different radio other than U.S. Cellular?

HSPL has naught to do with SIM unlocking. There's another thread about that in here. You need to be CID unlocked to flash those radios, though. Olipro doesn't give them out for free anymore, so you'd need to buy the CID unlocker.
